10-16 Walking Dead… In The Kingfield Neighborhood?

Take a look at that video above – it’s a yard in south Minneapolis that’s not for the faint of heart. Part light show and part horror show, add in fog machines and it becomes quite a spectacular display.

It’s not every day you go for a bike ride in south Minneapolis and come across a yard full of zombies, but that’s exactly how I discovered this display on Wentworth Avenue in the Kingfield neighborhood.  Scenes like these abound:

While a few neighbors question a gruesome display such as what you see above, the majority are strongly in favor, and support the homeowner in his fright-filled endeavors.  Speaking with three residents of the block, all were in favor of the Halloween festivities. One neighbor went as far as to say the following, “I’d estimate over ninety percent of us like what he’s doing over there.”

Whether you’re a fan of Halloween displays or not, take a few minutes to check out the house located on the 4200 block of Wentworth Avenue… or you’ll be sorry (and if you’re a bit squeamish, you may want to visit by day and not by night).
