Saturday: Summer (sort of) in Minneapolis forecast

I’m about to write about the coming of summer in the Twin Cities forecast, despite the fact that today and tomorrow we’ll be hovering right around 70 degrees for the weekend.

I imagine everyone will be OK with that, especially once they see the extended forecast and we kick into summer gear. Here’s a look at your Minneapolis/St. Paul 7 day forecast:

Look at how quickly those temps ramp up next week. By Wednesday and Thursday we’re not just seeing middle 80s for high temperatures, but also middle 60s for overnight lows. That’s summer, folks.

Enjoy it, and watch out for some shower/storm chances we’ll see around Monday night to Tuesday/Tuesday night. As of now, that’s our next best chance for rain. Stay tuned!
