Cold and getting colder in Minneapolis forecast
We’re seeing temperatures tumble during the day today in the Twin Cities forecast. At around 1 a.m. we were still at 33 degrees at MSP, and as of 8 a.m. temperatures have already dipped to 22, with more cold air yet to come.
Here’s a look at your Minneapolis 7 day forecast (and St. Paul 7 day forecast):
Looking ahead, we have our first near-zero degree night tonight, with a quick rebound back to the teens by tomorrow afternoon.
After that, there are some other major – but relatively quick – cool-downs. Look at New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day on the extended forecast and you’ll see the major cooling headed to Minnesota and the Twin Cities. Our forecast looks grim, with possible double-digit below zero temperatures by Wednesday morning… then we rebound.
