Scattered snow showers arrive in Minneapolis forecast today
We’re talking about snow showers this afternoon to tonight in the Twin Cities forecast, with very minor accumulations a possibility by Thursday morning. Just a dusting or so, and enough to make things slippery.

Looking ahead, after snow showers today/tonight we see temperatures plunge to even colder levels, with highs only in the teens for Thursday, and then clawing out of the teens to just barely hit 20 degrees on Friday.
Speaking of those snow chances… here’s our future radar as we talk about the incoming snow chances in the forecast. You can see one model showing snow showers as early as afternoon/early evening:
That’s essentially our cold air moving in – bringing that little blob of snow with it. Again, we’ll basically see a dusting of snow, or so, out of this. I’d imagine 0.5″ would be the absolute most snow we could squeeze out of this, based on what I’m seeing.
