Summer heat in Minneapolis forecast
We’re going on a little trip to July temperatures today… for a day. Our Twin Cities forecast includes temps in the middle 80s for the day, with the only thing missing being the intense humidity.
Here’s a look at your Minneapolis 7 day forecast (and St. Paul 7 day forecast):
Looking ahead, we start out warm again tomorrow morning, but then as cooler temps move in we see a few minor shower chances slip into the region. Here’s a look at future radar tomorrow afternoon:
Shower chances arrive in the afternoon – with the possibility of an isolated thunderstorm or two in the region. You can see a few of those red/orange blobs in the image above.
Looking further ahead, you can see shower chances on the 7 day forecast as we head into the weekend. That’s when we get our next cooler weather moving in.
You can see that little blue zone in the upper-level temperatures with an arrow aimed toward Minnesota. That’s the cold front that’s going to move in.
We’ll see temperatures drop from the 80s to the upper 60s to lower 70s during that time, and that’s when shower chances arrive as well. Stay tuned!
