Today will be a sunny and dry day in the Twin Cities, but rain makes a return later tonight. Your seven day:

Showers appear most likely in the Twin Cities between 1 am tonight and 1 pm Friday afternoon as rain moves into the region, however this precipitation could linger into Friday night. It does appear we will dry out in time for the Fishing Opener and Mother’s Day weekend, with Sunday being the warmest of the two days. Highs will make a return to around 80 early next week before a cold front brings the next chance of rain into the region next Tuesday.
