Cooler and damp in Minneapolis today
We’re cooler today in the Twin Cities, and we’re starting off damp – with some lingering showers around the region this morning as well. Here’s a look at the radar view as of 6:40 a.m. this morning:
As of this writing, showers are far enough away as to not really impact people in the Twin Cities metro area for some time. We’ll watch to see if they hold up, or start to break apart before reaching us. Either way, expect some clouds and possible rain/drizzle in the early portion of the day.
That’ll help keep us cooler today than we’ve been. Here’s a look at your Minneapolis 7 day forecast (and St. Paul 7 day forecast):
Looking ahead, after showers move through the area today, we’ll see a sunny day on Thursday – sunny and comfortable. Then we see rain chances move right back in again overnight Thursday to Friday, as temperatures tumble even further.
Heading into the weekend, we’ll look for a slight rebound and rain comes to an end on Saturday, and sun returns for Mother’s Day on Sunday! The Mother’s Day forecast looks impressive. Stay tuned!
