We’re finally warming up in the Twin Cities! As of 7 a.m. this morning we’re already at 10°, which is nearly as warm as yesterday’s high temperature.
Today, for the first time in days, we’ll climb up into the middle to upper 20s, with more warming still to come. Here’s a look at your Minneapolis 7 day forecast (and St. Paul 7 day forecast):
Looking ahead, you’ll love the weather for Valentine’s Day – with middle to upper 30s for highs and sunshine in the Twin Cities. It’s hard to beat. We’ll cool off slightly Thursday, with a chance of snow showers as another temporary blast of colder air slips in for Friday.
Saturday and Sunday we’ll warm up again, with a chance of rain or mixed showers now starting to show up for Sunday that’ll change to snow for Monday.
Looking ahead long-term, there’s not another major cold snap on the way after this seven day period, but there’s also not another major warm up on the way. We’ll have to see what happens, but for now that’s what we’re looking at. Stay tuned!
