Thursday’s Minneapolis 7-Day Forecast

The good news? The rain will taper off through the morning hours today, leaving us with mainly cloudy skies. The bad news? More rain is in the forecast… and it’ll come in time to mess up part of the weekend. Your forecast:

5-18-17_7Day

Through early this morning, over 2.50″ of rain has fallen over the past three days at the Twin Cities airport. We will see a break in the rain throughout the day with mainly cloudy skies, but another system will work into the region by Friday Night. The best time frame of receiving rain from the next system will be Friday Night into Saturday Morning, with rain tapering off through the rest of the weekend. Another inch of rain will be possible as this system moves through. Sunday should be a bit drier than Saturday.

It looks like a cooler week as well, with highs only in the 50s and 60s. The long term at the moment shows 60s and potentially 70s in the forecast as we head into the Memorial Day weekend.
